With that said, normal wear and tear can be experienced; therefore, to extend the life of your jewellery, please give them occasional breaks.

Please follow these tips below to extend the life of your jewellery:
  • Avoid swimming, bathing, showering, or washing your hands with jewellery on
  • Where possible, avoid direct contact with chemicals (e.g., hand cream and perfumes)
  • Allow hand/face cream to dry before putting on any jewellery
  • Practice removing jewellery before bed
  • Wipe/clean with a soft microfibre cloth

    What causes Green Finger?
    Traces of copper will be found in gold plating as this contributes to the colouring of the metal. In some extreme cases where the skin is sensitive and/or highly acidic, you may experience some oxidization (slight greening). Chemicals found in hand cream are another main cause of oxidization. Oxidization is a common trait found in even the highest quality jewellery.

    Treating Green Finger?
    1. Remove the stain by scrubbing your skin with soap and warm water.
    2. For more stubborn stains use make-up remover or rubbing alcohol and wipe the affected area using a cotton pad, and then rinse off with warm water and soap.
    3.  A non-acetone nail varnish remover can be used to remove more troublesome stains. Again, using a cotton pad, rub gently over the affected area, and rinse with soap and warm water. Note regular use of non-acetone nail varnish remover can cause dryness of the skin.
